UNCCA invites you to join us for an online seminar on the United Nations Convention on International Settlement Agreements Resulting from Mediation (the Singapore Convention on Mediation). The live, interactive webinar will take place across two consecutive afternoons to accommodate our participants across Australia and will be chaired by Delcy Lagones de Anglim.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: KHORY McCORMICK

Khory brings over four decades experience in dispute resolution to a diverse range of economic activity. He is an accredited mediator and graded arbitrator, a Fellow of ACICA and CIArb and was an Australian delegation member for UNCITRAL Working Group II which produced the Singapore Convention.

JOINING THE DISCUSSION: LAURA KEILY

Laura Keily is the Founder and Managing Director of Immediation, an online dispute resolution platform. Laura has spent the last two decades as an advocate, top-tier corporate lawyer, company director, business adviser and in-house counsel for listed corporates. A qualified arbitrator, specialist in corporations law and complex commercial litigation, Laura was awarded Innovator of the Year by the Womens' Barristers Association in 2020 for her work in pioneering online mediation.

This seminar will be held from 5pm (AEST) on Thursday, 21 October 2021 and it will be split into two parts:

  1. Pre-recorded presentation by Khory Mc Cormick (45 min); and
  2. Live networking and Q&A session (45 min).
